Job Description

You will lead complex FSD application and site-level migrations during the integration of purification and filtration businesses into the Thermo Fisher Scientific IT ecosystem ensuring seamless transitions and business continuity.

What you will do:

• Lead and manage the application migration kanban coordinating complex FSD integrations across multiple workstreams
• Apply Agile methodologies and frameworks to drive project execution scope management schedules budgets and resources
• Leverage deep IT landscape knowledge to design and implement scalable migration strategies and support models
• Foster continuous improvement and innovation by applying PPI principles throughout migration activities
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders technical teams and vendors to deliver strategic technology solutions
• Build and maintain strong relationships across organizational levels to ensure successful project delivery
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout all project phases
• Develop repeatable models that drive business continuity process efficiency and sustainable application support

REQUIREMENTS

• Advanced degree plus 6 years of experience or Bachelors degree plus 8 years of IT project management experience including large-scale enterprise implementations
• Preferred Fields of Study: Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration Engineering or related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required or preferred
• Agile/Scrum certifications (SAFe CSM etc.) preferred
• Strong expertise in project management methodologies including Agile Scrum SAFe and Waterfall
• Experience with project/portfolio management tools (MS Project Planview Jira etc.)
• Demonstrated success managing complex technical projects in regulated environments (GxP SOX HIPAA etc.)
• Excellent financial acumen and budget management capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to guide and collaborate across multiple teams and organizational levels
• Experience managing distributed teams and external vendors
• Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal
• Proficiency with MS Office suite and project management software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of change management principles and methodologies
• Experience with enterprise systems like ERP CRM LIMS preferred
• Travel may be required up to 20%
• Life sciences or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
• Demonstrated success in project delivery within scope timeline and budget constraints
• Excellent risk management and issue resolution skills
