The Helen F Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute (HFGCCRI) is seeking an Inpatient Oncologist.

Clinical Role & Responsibilities
- Responsible for conducting physical examinations and analyzing a patients medical history studying blood samples and identifying white and red blood cell abnormalities and analyzing patient historical data and using data to make informed decisions.
- Study lab tests CAT scans and MRIs for more accurate diagnosis.
- Testing and diagnosing patients.
- Performing bone marrow aspirations for the detection of blood disorders.
- Analyzing blood samples and identifying white or red blood cell abnormalities.
- Treating diseases such as anemia hemophilia leukemia.
- Administering chemotherapy for the treatment of lymphoma or leukemia.
- Treating blood-clotting disorders.
- Consulting with other medical professionals in difficult cases.
- Interpret and diagnosis morphologic findings on bone marrow biopsy specimens. Document pathologic findings.
- Support Department of Medicine in any audit/review of documentation.
- Contributes effectively to other inter-disciplinary team activities such as peer review sessions and other education and quality activities.
- Adhere to all American Board of Internal Medicine and Hematology criteria for knowledge guidelines interpretation of guidelines and execution of guidelines.
- Develops and monitors a personal continuing education strategy

- We are the only institution in the state the provides Gynecologic Oncology services to woman in the state who are diagnosed with gynecologic cancers.
- HFGCCRI offers the only Bone Marrow Transplant and CAR T Cell service in Delaware so patients do not need to leave the state for care.

Annual Compensation Range $387363.00 - $639034.00The above compensation range represents ChristianaCares good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting for full-time hours in the respective specialty. The actual compensation within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on a variety of factors including without limitation the fair market value for physician services in the relevant specialty and the candidates relevant experience education training credentials and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements. The compensation range listed may encompass various forms of applicable compensation for this position including but not limited to productivity incentives value-based incentives and other ancillary forms of compensation dependent upon operational factors such as hours worked call coverage and other factors.
