Job Summary

TheIntegratedStrategy Supervisorisacentralfacetwithin thecombined Brand-Digital IntegratedStrategy team.Working under the guidance oftheIntegrated BrandGroup DirectorISSconstructs the strategicfoundation for media plan development and ensures consistency across all channels.Asakeyagencycontacthe/shemaintainsstrong relationships with clients partner agenciesmediavendorsand internal departments. TheISSapplies his/her knowledge of industry trends and Horizons consumer/channel insight resources to offer the clients fresh thinking.He/she supervises all team projects ensuring they are completed accurately and on time and reflect both practical and strategic thinking.They will work closely with their team todevelopcross-channelstrategies andrecommend/activate digitalmedia plans that meet campaign imperatives and client objectives.

  • Build andmaintainstrong relationships with clients and partner agencies atappropriate level by serving as the key agency contact

  • Guide the team in translating client goalsinto strategicmedia solutions that grow our clients brandsand ensure strategic consistency across all elements of plan development and implementation

  • Lead research initiativesidentifyingtools and resourcesthat will aid in the consumer insight gathering and strategic planning process includingnew trendsand opportunities within the industry; develop POVs to share with clients and media team

  • Share evolving media trends and opportunities with peers and clients ensuring recommendations look to incorporate both existing media as well as emerging creative communication channels

  • Supervisethedevelopment of media briefsandthe strategic and tactical execution of all media buys ensuring all strategic direction and timelines are clearly communicated to the inner-agency teams

  • Overseetheaccuracyand timelinessofaccount managementand buy maintenance

  • Participate in overall client media strategy developmentin order todeeply understand the role marketplace media plays in larger media objectives

  • Work independently to plan key account(s) as necessary

  • Seek growth opportunities for clients

  • Act as day-to-day liaison between agency and publishers meeting with sales rep and management tomaintainrelationships stay on top of offerings and develop compelling/innovative ideas for clients

  • Responsible for ensuring the involvement of subject matter experts throughout the planning process

  • Meets with subject matter experts for educational and continued advancement

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Guideteam in setting goals and project tasks & timelines ensuring team members haschallenging level-appropriate projects and opportunities to learn new skills

  • Manageperformance review of Assistant and Sr./Strategist coaching to maximize successidentifyingtraining needs for improved performance setting goals for careerdevelopmentand ensuring actions are taken

  • Act as a role model for team

  • Provide active leadership in communication optimization strategies proactively communicating challenges and opportunities

  • Explore areas for growth within the team

Conduct performance reviews for media planning team

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Minimum of4-7 years of experience developing strategic media recommendations and stewarding media account projects

  • Experienceutilizingmultiple media channels

  • Familiarity with marketing principlesanalyticsand concepts

  • Experience with athird partyad server (DART/DFA preferred)

  • On top of industry trends

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word) and media research/reporting resources

  • Prior experience in aClientcontact and leadership role

  • Strong leadership and supervisory experience in terms of developing media professionals with ability to manage a team of 1-2 people

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to confidently present and sell through ideas both internally and to Clients

  • Strong writingpresentationand strategic and analytical thinking skills

  • Able to work independently and have excellent time management skills

  • Problem solver with the ability to develop creative solutions

  • Organized and detail-oriented with strong attention to follow-through

  • Nimble and flexible to succeed in a fast-paced environment and handle ad hoc requests

  • Strong teamplayer

  • Interest and familiarity through use of digital media

Salary Range

$85000.00 - $100000.00

A successful applicants actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individuals skill sets experience training education licensure/certifications and qualifications for the role.
