Job Summary
A prominent New Haven County personal injury law firm seeks a qualified attorney with Personal Injury Pre-litigation / Negotiator claims.
Qualifications:
- Admitted to CT Bar in good standing
- Personal injury experience with proven negotiation successesOR newly barred attorney with a desire to learn personal injury OR have handles personal injury claims as a paralegal / law clerk
- Proficient in all phases of a personal injury caseOR have a desire be mentored and learn personal injury law
- Excellent analytical skills
- Professional written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop positive rapport with a diverse group of people
- Adept at working efficiently and managing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Balance working independently and collaborating with others
- Proactive results-focused work ethic
Responsibilities include:
- Represent and counsel clients regarding their legal rights and obligations
- Review analyze and evaluate all case information and investigative materials
- Accountable for adherence to statute of limitations and notice deadlines
- Negotiate settle and try plaintiff personal injury cases
- Timely communication with clients and medical providers
- Provide outstanding client service in a professional and ethical manner
- Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with fellow attorneys and support staff
- Occasional travel to other CT offices or courts
- Follow the firms operating procedures and case management guidelines
