Concur Travel Management System Specialist Springfield, VA

PotomacWave is currently looking for a Travel Management System Specialist to join our team supporting a Federal Client in Springfield VA. This position provides support to travel system activities as they relate to the clients travel management system which currently is Concur Government Edition (CGE).

Responsibilities:

• Provide ConcurGov Travel Application System assistance
• Conduct monthly testing of SAP Concur service updates and enhancements to travel system
• Create/maintain LOA and routing lists
• Coordinate ConcurGov training and system-related communications
• Manage ConcurGov configuration modifications and release notifications to TSA
• Collaborate with ConcurGov Help Desk Travel Policy Team and the Federal Finance Center
• Work with TSA Local Travel Administrators
• Develop review and maintain ISOPs
• Review and establish TSA Travel Policy system setups using the Federal Travel Regulation (FTR and FAATP) and TSA Travel Policy Guidance
• Conduct testing of travel interface enhancements to the financial system
• Conduct application accessibility and functionality testing for enterprise-wide operating system upgrades and enhancements
• Collaborate with FINCEN to establish user accounts and resolve financial system-related travel transaction issues
• Serve as travel SME for the DHS Financial System Modernization project

Qualifications:

• Qualifications:
• B.S. Degree in Computer Science MIS or related field
• Minimum of three(3) years of IT experience
• Experience with Federal travel systems (Concur or similar travel systems) with a focus on travel system configuration and integration with federal financial systems but to also include understanding of end user experience and expectations.
• Ability to provide functional support to understand and resolve end user issues (tickets) above and beyond standard helpdesk already provided by Concur ina timely fashion with minimal Government intervention and to support the Federal client with system changes to include requirements documentation functional design review and testing.
• Strong oral and written communications skills to develop and provide end user training or presentations clearly communicate system issues and solutions and to document and advocate for TSA requirements as needed.
• Knowledge of GSA initiative(or similar initiative) and implementation strategies with demonstrated experience implementing new or migrating travel management systems including supporting change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption and user engagement.
• Understanding of Federal travel policy requirements as it relates to system configuration and implementation of new requirements and access or management controls.
• Must be a US Citizen capable of obtaining DHS suitability
