JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining long-lasting customer relationships to grow company market share. This role will be the point of contact for customer support as needed. The main objective of the Sales Representative will generate sales revenue while providing best-in-class customer support to new and existing customers.
YOUR IMPACT
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned:
- Conduct and participate in demonstrations and customer visitations.
- Assist in generating business opportunities within the refuse industry with participating in sales activities.
- Assist in developing and delivering sales bids proposals and presentations.
- Responsible for learning competing brands and companies.
- Support and help develop regional market share supporting the activities around forecast opportunities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associates degree in a related field and two (2) or more years of relevant experience; equivalent to five (5) years total in education and experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the role.
Proficiency in English and Italian (written and spoken).
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience in commercial activities
Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
Ability to interpret commercial metrics margin performance and customer trends to drive decision-making.
Willingness and ability to travel and conduct in-person customer visits as business needs require.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships at multiple organizational levels.
Experience in outbound customer engagement or prospecting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong ability to multitask using several computer systems simultaneously (Salesforce Outlook MS Office and others)
