Vendor Onboarding Manager - Cyber Security
Location: Milton Keynes - hybrid
This role follows a nonnegotiable 3day hybrid working pattern. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of our Milton Keynes office.
About the Job
Were looking for a commercially minded Vendor Onboarding Manager to own the identification onboarding and long-term enablement of new cyber security vendors within our portfolio. This role is critical to the growth of our cyber security business with a primary focus on vendor acquisition RFIs programme build and longterm enablement. The successful candidate will act as the primary owner for new vendor initiatives taking responsibility from initial engagement and onboarding through to the delivery of structured revenuegenerating programmes.
Working closely with Sales Marketing and Operations you will build clear business plans manage RFIs and onboarding activity and help develop repeatable growth models that enable cyber security vendors to be successfully positioned and scaled within the business.
Core responsibilities:
- Identify and onboard new cyber security vendors aligned to the organisations strategic and commercial objectives.
- Own the endtoend vendor onboarding lifecycle including RFIs due diligence governance and internal approvals.
- Act as the primary owner for new vendor initiatives coordinating activity across Sales Marketing Operations Finance and other stakeholders.
- Build structured vendor business plans defining routes to market enablement requirements and growth priorities.
- Design and implement scalable onboarding and gotomarket programmes to support longterm vendor growth.
- Enable internal teams by ensuring new vendors are clearly positioned understood and operationally ready.
- Track onboarding progress programme performance and opportunities using CRM and internal systems providing clear updates to stakeholders.
To set you up for success we are looking for the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in IT sales cyber security or vendor business development.
- Strong understanding of the cyber security landscape including vendors and routes to market.
- Experience completing RFIs business plans or managing vendor onboarding processes.
- Commercially minded with the ability to translate strategy into structured revenuedriving programmes.
- Confident communicator able to work effectively across sales marketing finance and external partners.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple vendor initiatives in parallel.
- Experience using CRM systems; familiarity with distribution or channel models is a strong advantage.
