Senior Atlassian Consultant for NATO with security clearance

Remote NATO Project Contract

We are looking for an experienced Atlassian specialist to support a high-profile NATO cyber programme focused on the demonstration and documentation of the Cyber Operations Management System (COMS).

This is a highly technical consulting assignment requiring deep expertise in Jira Data Center Confluence Data Center automation and platform architecture.

You will be responsible for recreating a complex production environment documenting functional and technical requirements and supporting demonstrations for industry stakeholders.

• Build and configure a COMS mock-up environment within the NATO Software Factory

• Recreate Jira and Confluence workflows processes plugins and integrations

• Implement automation and synchronization mechanisms between environments

• Analyse and document functional and non-functional requirements

• Produce technical documentation suitable for third-party vendors

• Create demonstration materials and technical walkthroughs

• Support live demonstrations and stakeholder presentations

• Collaborate with NATO and NCIA subject matter experts

• 5 years of Atlassian Jira Data Center administration

• 5 years of Atlassian Confluence Data Center administration

• Strong knowledge of ScriptRunner Groovy and Java

• Strong experience with Azure deployments

• Strong Linux administration skills

• Experience integrating Jira and Confluence platforms

• Experience with automation and scripting (Python Bash or similar)

• Strong understanding of Atlassian architecture and databases

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Previous experience with NATO or NCIA environments

• Experience with COMS

• Knowledge of cyber operations environments

• Experience presenting technical solutions to senior stakeholders

• Fully remote delivery

• Initial duration: approximately 4 months

• NATO project environment

• Small expert team

• High visibility assignment with significant impact

At least one member of the delivery team must hold a valid NATO Secret clearance. NATO Restricted eligibility is required for technical team members.
