Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - OB/GYN

Join a dynamic team at a prominent medical plaza in Colorado Springs Colorado specializing in OB/GYN care. Located just 1.2 miles from a major hospital this facility offers a friendly and collaborative environment for healthcare professionals. The practice operates primarily during regular clinic hours (8am-5pm Monday-Friday) with some hospital coverage required. This is an excellent opportunity for NPs seeking full-time coverage in a community-focused setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care in a clinic setting managing low-risk pregnancies.
• Perform deliveries and assist in surgical procedures as necessary.
• Manage patient caseloads averaging 20 patients per day.
• Collaborate with a team of 5 OB/GYNs and 2 mid-levels for optimal patient care.
• Participate in a call schedule with shifts of 1 in 5 days and 1 in 10 weekends/overnights.
• Conduct ultrasounds and other diagnostic procedures on-site.
• Supervise and support ancillary staff ensuring a high level of patient care.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (required).
• Prior experience in OB/GYN settings (required).
• Experience with both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies preferred.
• Patient-first approach with strong communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current Colorado State License (preferred).
• BLS ACLS and NRP certifications (required).
• NPDB pulled within 30 days at the time of presentation (required).
• CLEAN background history (required).
