Schedule Details/Additional Information:

  • This position will be flexible 8/10 hour shifts to meet the needs of the department. Start time is 0645 end time for regular shift will be either 1515 or 1715. Start times may flex to accommodate the surgery schedule.
  • Call required with 30 minute response time. Approx 3 weekends per year. A weekend starts Fri 3pm ends Mon at 0645. Weekday call is 1515-0645. Average 1-2 weekdays per month (non- weekend month) . There is Holiday call. Average holiday call is 1 holiday every other year.
  • Sheboygan surgery department is a fast paced environment performing 600-700 cases per month. High volume of major ortho ENT urology and ophthalmology. We also have robotic general and total joint procedures plastics spine GYN podiatry pain clinic and ortho hand.
  • Our team works to support one another and deliver high quality surgical care. Our patient experience scores are one of the highest in the Aurora system and we thrive for great outcomes in all of the surgical metrics.

Pay Range

Were Looking For:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • OR experience helpful

What Youll Do:

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe therapeutic care in accordance with established standards policies and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice clinical decision making compassion and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
