Assist with: 1. Technical Support & Stage Management: Collaborate with the production director to implement a cohesive performance. Manage and coordinate lighting sound and audio-visual equipment including installation testing and maintenance. Oversee the stage design construction and setup including the placement and management of props and costumes. Check repair and inventory technical equipment such as control panels microphones soundboards and stage lights. Coordinate and supervise technical support teams including training and scheduling work crews. 2. Facility Management & Equipment Maintenance: Direct the cleaning and restoration of the production facility post-performance. Perform equipment inventories and return rental equipment. Maintain effective document and records management systems related to technical operations and equipment. Prepare and maintain training materials for audio-visual and technical equipment. 3. Communication & Team Collaboration: Maintain open and effective communication with production staff and performers. Develop mutually respectful relationships with co-workers and function as part of a cohesive team. Address and resolve issues with tact and diplomacy supporting equality diversity and inclusion. 4. Health Safety & Compliance: Adhere to health and safety protocols to mitigate workplace risks including emergency preparedness and response. Protect district property and equipment ensuring compliance with legal statutes concerning harassment discrimination and suspected abuse/neglect. Maintain a drug and alcohol-free work environment. 5. Professional Development: Pursue opportunities to enhance job knowledge and technical skills. Stay current with industry standards and practices updating skills as necessary. 6. Miscellaneous Duties: Perform other specific job-related duties as directed to support district strategies and organizational goals.
