Job Summary
The Stuttgart School District is seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeableDyslexia Interventionist for the 2026/2027 school year to provide targeted research-based instruction to students identified with characteristics of dyslexia. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in theScience of Readingand a passion for helping struggling readers achieve success through structured literacy practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Education or related field (Masters degree preferred)
- Valid Arkansas teaching license
- Training in Take Flightintervention program preferred OR willingness to attend and commit to the full2-year Take Flight training
- Strong understanding ofdyslexia structured literacy and the Science of Reading
- Knowledge of phonological awareness decoding fluency spelling and comprehension instruction
- Experience working with students with reading difficulties or dyslexia preferred
- Strong communication collaboration and organizational skills
