Dietetic Intern

Responsibilities

Dietetic Intern will work under the supervision of the registered dietitian preceptor to observe and counsel patients.
Intern will shadow dietitian preceptor during nutrition counseling visits.
Intern will review patient charts provide nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy to patients under supervision of dietitian preceptor and chart using EPIC health records.
Intern will work with dietitian preceptor to create or update health education materials.
Intern will attend meetings and trainings.
If available intern will assist with and/or co-facilitate groups with dietitian preceptor.
