About the Role
Concept Rehab is seeking a Director of Rehab (DOR) to lead our skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation program in Johnston IA. The ideal candidate may come from a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) background though Physical Therapists (PT) Occupational Therapists (OT) and Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) are also encouraged to apply.
This is a full-time leadership position responsible for clinical oversight team leadership and program performance within a collaborative mission-driven CCRC environment.
Compensation is based on experience discipline background (PT OT SLP PTA or COTA) and leadership scope. Final compensation will reflect clinical experience prior leadership experience and market factors.
What Youll Do
- Lead and manage the rehabilitation team (PT OT SLP PTA COTA)
- Oversee day-to-day therapy operations in a skilled nursing setting
- Ensure high-quality patient care and clinical outcomes
- Maintain documentation accuracy compliance and regulatory standards
- Monitor therapy utilization productivity and program performance
- Collaborate with nursing administration and interdisciplinary teams
- Support staff development training and retention
Qualifications
- Licensed PT PTA OT COTA or SLP (Iowa license required)
- Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) or post-acute rehab
- Prior Director of Rehab / Rehab Manager / supervisory experience preferred
- Strong leadership communication and organizational skills
