Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical / Telemetry
Location: Warrensville Heights OH
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit within a high-acuity hospital setting. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a variety of medical conditions requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. The RN will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
Perform patient assessments documentation and care planning.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
Ensure adherence to hospital protocols safety standards and quality measures.
Complete accurate documentation using designated systems.
Job Details:
Shift: Night shift 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours (Auto Offer)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Orientation: 16 hours (non-billable)
On-Call: Not required
Holiday Requirement: Must work at least every other holiday
Assessment Requirements: ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate (must pass during orientation)
Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license in hand at time of submission
AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
PBDS assessment waived
Experience with telemetry monitoring strongly required
