Pay Rate: $70 $80/hour (Travel)
Position Overview:
A leading healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced high-acuity emergency department. The RN will utilize the nursing process to assess plan implement and evaluate patient care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans
Administer medications and monitor patient responses
Provide emergency nursing care in high-acuity situations
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR/EHR systems
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Supervise and delegate tasks to support staff as needed
Ensure compliance with safety infection control and hospital protocols
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Educate patients and families on care plans and treatments
Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
Attend required training and continuing education programs
Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Active Massachusetts RN License (Required)
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
BLS and ACLS Certifications (Required)
Strong clinical skills including:
IV therapy and IV starts
Ventilator management
Telemetry monitoring
Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior ER Travel Nursing experience
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
De-escalation training/certification
