State Product Manager Personal Lines (Remote)
Leading Fortune 100 P&C insurance organization is hiring State Product Managers to own strategy performance and profitability for key Personal Lines markets. This position provides true ownership at the state level leading pricing underwriting appetite product structure regulatory strategy and financial performance in close partnership with actuarial underwriting sales claims legal and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own strategy and financial performance for assigned states
- Develop and execute multiyear state business plans aligned to enterprise goals
- Lead pricing underwriting appetite and product structure decisions
- Analyze profitability market trends and competitive positioning
- Partner with Actuarial Underwriting Sales Claims Legal and Technology teams
- Manage rate reviews regulatory engagement and compliance activities
- Communicate results and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
- Lead and develop a small team (up to two direct reports)
Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in Personal Lines product management or underwriting
- Proven experience managing statelevel P&L and profitability
- Strong strategic thinking and datadriven decisionmaking skills
- Ability to influence crossfunctional partners and leadership
- Experience working with state regulators and understanding market dynamics
- Bachelors degree required (MBA CPCU actuarial background a plus)
Compensation
- $130-150k
