IT SPECIALIST

Job Title: IT Specialist

Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Specialist to join our team. As an IT Specialist you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our companys technology infrastructure and providing technical support to our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install configure and troubleshoot hardware and software systems

- Monitor and maintain network and server systems to ensure maximum uptime and performance

- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures

- Provide technical support to employees for hardware software and network related issues

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner

- Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions

- Develop and maintain technical documentation including user guides and manuals

- Conduct regular security audits and implement security measures to protect company data

- Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and make recommendations for improvements

- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology needs

- Train employees on new hardware and software systems as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

- Proven experience with network and server management including Windows and Linux operating systems

- Strong knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting

- Experience with virtualization and cloud computing technologies

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Certifications such as CompTIA A Network and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus.
