Thinking Minds client is looking for an experienced Maintenance Spare Parts Procurement Specialist to enhance their life sciences maintenance operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the availability and accuracy of maintenance spare parts supporting GMP/GxP controlled facilities. The specialist will work with IBM Maximo and JDE systems to maintain data integrity and support maintenance teams.

Role Overview

The role involves sourcing and coordinating the purchase of maintenance spare parts repair components consumables and replacement assemblies. The specialist will maintain accurate part supplier cost and inventory data in IBM Maximo and JDE. This position helps ensure parts are identified approved procured received and available to support planned and corrective maintenance equipment reliability and urgent repair needs. The role requires strong technical research skills and data discipline to reduce downtime risk and improve inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Manage vendor-managed inventory (VMI) activity with Grainger

Support Rockwell Parts Management Agreement

Resolve spare parts invoicing issues

Create and follow up on vendor workflow requests

Order non-critical parts per site procurement processes

Assist with emergency critical spare parts orders

Serve as a contact between Spare Parts team and stakeholders

Support Storeroom and amp; CMMS Manager with procurement follow-up
