About this position:

The Vice President of Development is a senior technology leader responsible for the strategy execution and continuous improvement of LMCUs software development ecosystem. This role oversees all internal and external application development automation initiatives and emerging AI capabilities. The VP ensures that LMCU delivers secure scalable highquality applications that support organizational goals enhance member experience and advance the credit unions digital transformation.

The ideal candidate brings deep engineering leadership strong Agile expertise and handson experience with UiPath RPA and Agentic AI systems combined with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and cultivate a highperformance collaborative culture.

What youll do:

Software Development Strategy

• Develop and execute a comprehensive software development and support strategy aligned with organizational objectives.

• Establish technology roadmaps release schedules and longterm architectural direction.

• Integrate automationfirst principles including UiPath RPA and Agentic AI into the development strategy to improve efficiency reliability and scalability.

• Ensure all development functions operate within a mature Agile framework emphasizing iterative delivery transparency and continuous improvement.

Software Engineering Leadership

• Lead mentor and develop a highperforming software engineering organization.

• Promote a culture of innovation accountability and continuous learning.

• Champion Agile leadership behaviors fostering psychological safety empowerment and experimentation.

• Guide teams in adopting best practices in engineering automation and AIenabled development.

Product Development & Delivery

• Oversee the full software development lifecycle from concept to deployment.

• Ensure delivery of highquality applications that meet time budget and performance expectations.

• Champion Agile product management practices including backlog health incremental delivery and rapid feedback loops.

• Evaluate and integrate automation and AIenabled workflows where appropriate to enhance member and employee experiences.

CrossFunctional Collaboration

• Partner with business units product owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment with requirements and strategic priorities.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and crossdepartmental collaboration to drive shared ownership and rapid iteration.

• Identify automation opportunities across the organization and ensure successful deployment of RPA and AIdriven solutions.

Technical Leadership

• Provide architectural and technical direction for development and support teams.

• Ensure adherence to modern engineering standards secure coding practices and scalable design principles.

• Lead the adoption of UiPath RPA Agentic AI frameworks and other emerging technologies.

• Collaborate with thirdparty vendors and application providers to ensure quality performance and alignment with LMCUs technology strategy.

What youll bring:

• 58 years of leadership experience in software development and engineering.

• Strong Agile leadership experience including coaching teams scaling Agile practices and leading Agile transformations.

• 3 years of experience with UiPath RPA including design deployment and governance of automation solutions.

• 3 years of experience implementing or overseeing Agentic AI systems and AI-enabled workflows.

• Proven experience managing complex application portfolios and modern development environments.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior-level professionals navigate complex conversations and build trust with stakeholders.

• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences while coaching teams and leaders in Agile principles and collaborative behaviors.

• Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum Kanban SAFe) and modern engineering practices balancing innovation risk and operational stability.

• Experience evaluating automation and AI use cases with a focus on compliance security and operational impact and collaborating effectively with third-party vendors and partners.
