About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Developer / Application Architect to join a dynamic development team working on business-critical applications.

In this role you will act as the technical authority shaping the architectural direction and elevating development standards. You will balance innovation with stability while contributing hands-on to the development of robust and scalable applications.

Your Responsibilities

• Define and guide architecture decisions across backend (.NET/C#) and frontend (Angular or Blazor)
• Act as a technical lead and mentor coaching developers and promoting best practices
• Develop and maintain high-quality business-critical applications
• Improve and optimize the software development lifecycle (tools workflows standards)
• Collaborate closely with analysts testers and project managers
• Drive adoption of modern technologies including AI-assisted development
• Ensure clean code performance and scalability across solutions

Your Profile

Must-Have

• Minimum 5 years experience in application development
• Strong expertise in .NET / C#
• Solid experience with Angular (or similar frontend frameworks)
• Experience as an Application Architect or technical lead
• Proven experience in Agile development environments
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira Confluence)
• Strong hands-on experience in coding testing and debugging
• Dutch proficiency at CEFR level C2

Nice to Have

• Experience with Blazor
• Knowledge of API Gateway solutions (e.g. Kong)
• Experience with OpenShift or container platforms
• Familiarity with AI tools in development (e.g. Claude)
• Experience with SQL and database design
• Experience with Bitbucket
• Proven experience in team leadership and coaching
