Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Production Technician to support the daily operations of a fast-paced Sterile Processing Department (SPD). This role is responsible for managing loaner and consignment instrument trays ensuring accurate processing sterilization and documentation while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Receive inspect and verify incoming loaner and consignment trays for accuracy and completeness
Perform and document proper sterilization of instruments before and after processing
Track tray movement throughout the sterilization and return cycle
Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery processing and return of trays
Support daily production workflows and prioritize tasks to meet operational deadlines
Identify and escalate discrepancies related to tray contents documentation or timelines
Maintain a clean organized and compliant work environment
Communicate effectively with coordinators leadership team members and external vendors
Assist with delivery coordination pickups and documentation tracking
Accurately maintain sterilization records and tray tracking within internal systems
Ensure compliance with established policies procedures and regulatory standards
Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
CRCST or CSPDT certification required
Minimum of 2 years of sterile processing experience
Experience handling loaner and consignment trays preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced high-volume environment
Familiarity with instrument tracking systems and documentation processes
