The Shopping & Product Coordinator supports partner agencies by managing product information coordinating appointments and maintaining accurate ERP documentation and inventory control in the product pickup area.
Primary Responsibilities:
(75%) As an ambassador of the Food Bank and always representing the organization in a friendly and professional manner ensure all partner agency representatives are treated equitably and maintain accuracy of product being distributed to partner agencies.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and Food Bank standard operating procedures.
- Conduct accurate data entry in ERP system and all documentation is being signed properly recorded and filed.
- Develop and/or use marketing techniques to better inform partner agency representatives of product usability (out by dates recipes etc.) maintain a clean and neat appearance of your workspace and post product quantity limits and other pertinent information.
- Ensure partner agency representatives adhere to all requirements set forth in the Partner Agency agreement and enforce any inconsistencies ( blanket for perishable product closed toed shoes etc.).
(25%) Perform/assist with other tasks relevant to the position.
- Maintain a safe and accident-free workplace environment.
- Be engaged in any pertinent meetings and use appropriate technology timely and effectively.
- Actively listen communicate and collaborate with co-workers.
- Follow inventory cycle count procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirement:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED is required some college coursework is equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the listed qualifications
Experience:
- 3 years of experience in an administrative customer service and/or community service environment is preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Self-Directed & Accountable Proactive results-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for outcomes.
- Technical Proficiency Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
- Numerical Accuracy & Compliance Demonstrates ability to perform basic math calculations and successfully complete required food safety training while maintaining accurate records and adherence to standards.
- Equipment Operation Prior forklift certification preferred; ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification required.
- Warehouse & Distribution Knowledge Experience in warehouse operations inventory control or food distribution environments preferred.
- Organization & Time Management Exceptional ability to prioritize tasks manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Adaptability & Resilience Thrives in dynamic environments and responds effectively to shifting priorities.
- Customer Orientation Provides responsive and professional customer service by addressing inquiries maintaining clear communication and ensuring a positive experience for partner agencies and stakeholders.

Talk hear and interact without deliberate impediment (e.g. wearing or listening to headphones etc.);
Sit stand walk use hands to finger handle or feel.
Lift and carry loads of up to 60 pounds for short distances (less than 50 feet)
To reach for and/or lift upward with their arms and hands to heights of 6 feet or greater.
To twist their body right or left often repeatedly.
The employee is occasionally required to climb balance and to stoop crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Work Environment
General warehouse environments including refrigerators produce coolers and freezers with temperatures ranging from -10 degrees Fahrenheit to 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Some protective clothing will be provided and must be worn for this work.
- While performing the essential functions of the job the employee is required to work in a warehouse setting.
- The employee will be required to interact with Food Bank personnel in the warehouse(s).
- The employee will occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles.
- Safety toe footwear with non-skid soles is required.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
- The warehouse can be extremely cold at times and extremely hot during the summer months.
