Job Summary
Able to provide leadership and takes initiative in representing the FLA MRI Department regarding safety. Will represent MRI Department on various department enterprise and institutional committees. Coordinate and collaborate with radiologist physician leaders MRI physics team to implement and continuously improve the MR safety environment. Lead safety initiatives and provide education that can lead to the safe consistent operation of the entire MCF MRI fleet located in several distinct locations serving outpatient and inpatient diagnostic and procedural exams and research studies. Work with and support medical professionals clinical divisions and operating units in identifying and rectifying education needs regarding MRI Safety. Communicate effectively and be able to lead individuals and/or multidisciplinary teams in the accomplishment of MRI safety goals and objectives. Represent Mayo Clinic in pertinent national and international conferences and forums.
Qualifications
Associates degree and five years of experience as an MRI Technologist experience in safety and/or education related to MRI safety preferred. Possess strong problem-solving skills to influence all levels of work unit division department and enterprise in the management of MR safety. Possess strong written oral communication interpersonal and analytical skills. Proficient in the use of clinical applications and office productivity tools such as Microsoft Outlook Word Excel Zoom and (R) (MR) credentialed. MRSO certification within 12 months.
