Job Summary
This role requires strong business and customer first acumen and offers exposure to multiple senior stakeholders within Amazon Prime Video. As marketplace businesses (TVOD & Channels) are a key growth lever for Prime Video in APAC this role has direct impact on business outcomes including channel subscriptions TVOD transactions and partner success. It is a perfect fit for an ambitious strategic self-starter with a keen understanding of the customer funnel and whos particularly energised to accelerate marketplace growth across India and SEA.
The candidate should be an experienced marketer with deep customer marketing knowledge and experience driving conversion across different market contexts and business models. Candidates will have experience working cross-functionally across internal teams as well as an aptitude for data analysis. A mind for innovation thinking big and learning through testing is highly valued. This role will be based out of Mumbai working closely with teams across SEA5 markets.
Key job responsibilities
This is an individual contributor role. Sharp analytical skills high ownership and customer obsession and proven ability to prioritize ruthlessly to achieve results will be critical to succeed in this role.
- Own marketplace storefront strategy across IN & SEA: Full ownership of storefront marketing strategy and execution for TVOD and Prime Video Channels businesses across India and South East Asia. Design customer-driven storefront roadmaps for each market aimed at increasing discovery engagement and conversions for marketplace content.
- Drive Channels & TVOD merchandising: Plan and execute storefront merchandising for Prime Video Channels partner portfolio including new partner launches sports events and seasonal campaigns. Own TVOD storefront programming to maximise transactions across catalog and new release windows.
- Drive customer engagement metrics: Full ownership of engagement metrics for marketplace businesses across IN & SEA understanding analysing and reporting them on a regular cadence (weekly monthly annually) to respective country leadership teams taking actions to increase engagement and influencing others where required.
- Optimise through experimentation: Define experiment frameworks for marketplace storefronts including A/B tests on merchandising layouts content placement personalisation and promotional strategies. Manage execution and share learnings with cross-functional teams to inform product development and strategy.
-Influence global product for marketplace: Interface with global storefront product teams and hold them accountable to driving marketplace performance in the region. Advocate for IN & SEA marketplace-specific needs and contribute to experiments from a regional perspective.
- Stakeholder management: Collaborate across Partners Account Managers PVPD Content teams and leadership alongside regional teams to provide visibility for Channels and TVOD content. Lead with confidence and conviction in prioritising levers across marketplace business lines and market segments.
- Audit data and ensure quality reporting: Audit and update existing data pipelines in collaboration with Business Intelligence and tech teams to ensure the highest level of data quality for marketplace reporting and decision-making.

This team takes full ownership of customer engagement which requires a solid grasp of key engagement metrics and a track record of high performance across different market segments
- 6 years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience building executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Significant experience in CRM outbound or direct marketing. Managing end-to-end outbound/direct marketing campaigns across email push and/or WhatsApp channels
- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
- Experience in multi-territory campaign management across APAC or similar diverse markets
