Job Summary

The Hotel Operations Manager oversees the daily operations of two property hotels including the Front Desk Reservations Laundry and Housekeeping Departments.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for generating room forecasts and daily revenue reports including yield management.
  • Responsible for responding to guest comment cards letters and phone calls addressing complaints and resolving concerns.
  • Responsible for the staffing and supervision of Hotel Operations (i.e. Front Desk Night Auditor Reservations Laundry and Housekeeping).
  • Formulates and implements Hotel Operations policies and procedures and ensures enforcement of company policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for planning budgets and control of payroll costs.
  • Establishes standards for personnel administration and performance service to patrons room rates credit and service.
  • Must be able to adapt to changing business demands.
  • Must be able to stand sit and walk for prolonged periods of time (7 hours).
  • Knowledgeable of the Indiana Gaming regulations as well as companys internal controls policies and procedures.
  • Always follow the Company Service Standards model.
  • Must be available for regularly scheduled work and be able to work a variety of hours holidays and weekends.
  • Other duties may be assigned at any time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree from four-year college or university; 5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 3 years hotel operations experience
  • Strong Leadership capability
  • Proficient In Microsoft Office Products (Outlook Teams Word Excel)
  • Experience working with Oracle Opera Oracle Purchasing strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation up to $60000 depending upon qualifications and experience.
