Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Room
Location: Hyannis MA 02601
Job Type: Contract Travel Assignment
Shift: Night Shift 12 hours (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday required
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic Emergency Department team. This role involves delivering high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment managing a wide range of medical emergencies with professionalism and clinical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments triage and stabilization
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical protocols
- Ensure a safe clean and compliant patient care environment
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required)
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
- Minimum 12 years of recent Emergency Department or acute care experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems preferred
- Flexibility to work nights weekends and holidays
