ACS Senior Strategy & Operations Manager JAPAC
Job Summary
The Opportunity
The Senior Strategy & Operations Manager (SOM) for APAC & Japan is an individual contributor role responsible for enabling consistent execution operational rigor and performance transparency across Adobe Customer Success & Engineering organisations.
This role partners with regional and global leaders to translate strategy into actionable operating plans while accounting for regional scale capacity constraints and market nuances.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main ACS Operations partner for Japan and APAC within Customer Success
- Inspect business performance to drive accountabilityhelpmaintaindata hygieneandregional adherence to global processes while providing feedbacktohelpimproveregionalefficiencies.
- Deliver operational insights and performance analysis (e.g. NDR URR utilization capacity) to support leadership decisionmaking
- Establish repeatable business rhythms streamline workflows and drive continuous improvement across teams and regions.
- Support regional compensation and incentive governance including plan alignment validation and exception support
- Support capacity coverage and headcount discussions with regional leadership and partner with local finance and global capacity teams
- Drive process consistency and operating model adoption supporting regional change and enablement initiatives
- Partner with our Data & Analytics team as the regional contact for reporting needs & enhancements that drive global alignment and operational efficiencies
- Support QBRs leadership reviews and key execution milestones with clear databacked insights

- Regional scope across APAC and Japan
- Direct impact on operational performance execution quality and leadership decisionmaking
- Influences outcomes through data insight and crossfunctional partnership rather than peoplemanagement authority
Autonomy and Complexity
- Operates with moderate autonomy in a highly matrixed global environment
- Balances global standards with regional execution needs
- Exercises judgment in ambiguous situations with guidance from senior leadership as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in Strategy & Operations Business Operations or Sales/Customer Success Operations
- Strong analytical skills across performance metrics compensation mechanics and capacity modelling
- Proficiencyin Excel PowerPoint and AI tools that boost productivity
- Experience supporting APAC and/or Japan markets
- Ability to operate independently and influence without formal authority
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with senior stakeholders
- Hands on mentality proactiveand great attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a global matrixed organization
- Familiarity with regional compensation governance beneficial but not essential
- Experience supporting crossregional or multigeo teams
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a virtual team environment
Success Criteria
- Regional leaders rely on this role to drive operational excellence for operational clarity and execution support
- Business inspection is part of the run the business and drives clear actions and accountability to help improve regional efficiencies and overall performance
- Performance risks are identified early with clear actionable recommendations
- JAPAC operations demonstrate innovation consistency transparency and regional relevance
- SOM builds andmaintains trust-based relationships with business partners across the organization to align people processes and systems
