Position | Innovation & Strategic Analyst | Division: | Livingstone Campus Police | Department: | Livingstone Camus Police/Public Safety Department | Reports to: | Vice President/Chief of Police | Position Summary
| - The Innovation & Strategic Manager is responsible for supporting the vision and strategic direction of the Livingstone Campus Police/Public Safety Department by driving innovation operational modernization and strategic growth initiatives.
- This position serves as a key partner to the Vice President/Chief of Police working to enhance departmental effectiveness through technology integration recruitment and branding strategies program development and data-driven decision-making.
- The role is designed to strengthen the departments ability to remain competitive forward-thinking and aligned with best practices in higher education and public safety while also providing direct administrative and strategic support to executive leadership.
| Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The results you will deliver each day that matter most! | Strategic Innovation and Departmental Advancement - Develop and implement strategies that modernize departmental operations and improve overall performance.
- Create goals and initiatives that encourage innovative thinking and continuous improvement across the department.
- Research innovative trends within that department to help the agency stay up to date on advancements.
- Identify new opportunities emerging technologies and market trends to ensure competitive advantages.
- Analyze operational date to identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
Recruitment Branding and Marketing Strategy - Develop recruitment branding and marketing strategies to enhance departmental visibility and attract qualified candidates.
- Create graphics and informational content for the departments website social media and digital communications.
- Strengthen the departments brand as a modern innovative and professional public safety organization.
Partnership and Development and Collaboration - Collaborate with internal and external partners (Student Affairs Criminal Justice Department Business Department Admissions Police & Sheriffs Department.
- Develop and maintain partnerships that support recruitment student engagement and community outreach.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives that strengthen institutional effectiveness.
Technology and Digital Innovation - Implement AI-driven and technology-based solutions to improve efficiency communications and engagement.
- Evaluate and recommend digital toots and systems that enhance departmental operations.
- Collaborate with information technology and campus partners to support system integration and functionality.
- Support training and adoption of new technologies across the department.
| Education/ Experience
What you will need to be successful! | Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in business administration Marketing Public Administration Criminal Justice Information Systems or a related field required. Masters degree (MBA MPA or related field) preferred. Experience Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in strategic planning marketing innovation or operational support. Demonstrated experience in implementing technology solutions or process improvements. Experience managing multiple projects and collaborating across departments. Working Conditions Standard office environment with occasional participation in campus events and outreach activities. May require evening or weekend work as needed.
