Job Description:
This role is responsible for leading the team responsible for identifying evaluating and signing prospective clients for the Employee Banking and Investing Program. The position involves engaging with corporate clients and senior executives across all lines of business to build relationships understand and present program benefits manage contracts and coordinate approvals across Legal Compliance and Risk addition this role must be the key liaison with executives to drive additional business andhelp present on the EBI business.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with executives in all lines of business to identify opportunities find new ways of uncovering opportunities share impactful business updates and needs. (GCB GCIB Global Markets BB WPB Merrill LMO)
- Manage and hold accountable the Client Development Specialist team who are responsible for signing new clients within the program.
- Helps support pipeline growth and management with all LMO teams.
- Conduct client research and prepare for meetings to effectively present program benefits to senior executives and decision-makers; occasionally present and join client calls with high profile clients.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in business development or client development roles.
- Extensive knowledge of and network across corporate and/or commercial banking.
- Minimum of 10 years of experiencein financial services wealth management preferably with internal and external consulting experience
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage a portfolio of clients and drive engagement.
- Proven track record in prospecting relationship building and closing successful transactions.
- Strong professional sales skills including strategic planning execution and follow-up.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Strong executive presence and relationships across enterprise.
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to present confidently to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
