Aboutthe Role
The Development Marketing and Communications team is seekingahighly organized and results-driven Raisers Edge Database Coordinator. This role is integral to successful fundraising efforts and donor relationships. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented able to maintain privacy and confidentiality when managing sensitive donor information friendly and donor-centric. Expertise in Raisers Edge NXT is a must. The role reports to the Director of Development and Communications.
Responsibilities
- Input and update data within Raisers Edge NXT including gifts constituents pledges opportunities and events
- Create and maintain funds campaigns and appeals
- Ensure data accuracy standardization and completeness including reconciliation of gifts with reporting from finance department
- Create and issue donation receipts in a timely manner while ensuring compliance with CRA requirements
- Develop prepare and provide reporting as needed
- Manage and prepare lists for newsletters direct mail and email campaigns
- Set up and maintain workflows
- Prepare and manage online donation forms
- Answer donor queries (phone calls and emails) and manage NTBCs Donations inbox
- Support timely acknowledgement of gifts including thank-you cards for in-memory and in-honour gifts
- Set up event records capture guest attendance and donations
- Attend and support events which may require occasional evening and weekend commitments and travel within BC
- Manage physical donations
- Provide back up for incoming and outgoing mail
- Other duties as required
Role Requirements
- A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role.
- High level of proficiency in Raisers Edge NXT for data processing reporting and donor management.
- Knowledge of how efficient data management contributes to more effective fundraising.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be legally allowed to work in Canada
