Job Description:
Assisting Hands Home Care Merrillville is now hiring Caregivers Home Health Aides (HHA) Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) Personal Care Aides (PCA) Direct Support Professionals (DSP) and Home Care Assistants to provide high-quality non-medical in-home care to seniors and adults in St. John IN and nearby communities.

Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide personal care (bathing grooming toileting dressing)
- Meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Medication reminders
- Companionship and emotional support
- Transportation and errands (if applicable)
- Support clients with mobility and transfers
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year caregiving experience preferred (Caregiver CNA HHA PCA DSP or similar role)
- CNA or HHA certification is a plus
- Valid drivers license reliable transportation and auto insurance
- Ability to pass National background check
- CPR certification and TB test (or willingness to obtain)
- Must be dependable professional and compassionate
