Job Description Summary
Provide remote/in person admin/office support and attend community events for the Ferrucci Institute for Italian Experience and Research. Up to 6 hours per week varies by week.
Responsibilities
Attend community events and help with general coordination and promotion of the Ferrucci Institute and Italian studies at Chapman University (event set-up taking photographscommunity engagement). Help prepare Ferrucci House for Fall Semester 2026 Other tasks assigned by the Italian Studies Program Director and the Ferrucci Institute Director. Those may include: Creation of promotional material. Gather and organize program information. Social media management. Create basic teaching materials. Assist elementary-level students (help introduce new students to the program and the Italian Club provide basic guidance with program life and academic resources).
Required Qualifications
Little to minimal prior experience. Ability to learn support process. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Must be available to attend community events on May 31 and August 15.
