The Department of Agriculture Conservation & Forestry Bureau of Parks & Lands-Boating Facilities Division - Navigational Aids Program has a temporary 12 - week position in Richmond.
*The 2026 season runs from May 31 2026 August 22 2026.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION: This 12-week temporary Park Ranger position will assist in the preparation placement and maintenance of navigational aids on 40 water bodies throughout Maine. Daily activities require a basic mechanical understanding ability to drive a truck with a boat trailer and be able to spend long days on the road/water while servicing inland navigational aids on lakes/ponds.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education training and/or experience in park operations or maintenance or another closely related field.
Preference will be given to candidates with the following skills/experience:
- Knowledge of boating operations
- Experience with trailer handling
