About us

WithinDamen the Damen Data Services team is a professional provider of high-quality data driven solutions& servicesand the enabler for digital transformation. Damen Data Services mission is to create business value by data for Damen Shipyards by innovating the (digital) collaboration between colleagues yards ships customers and suppliers.

The Damen Data Services team is driving our Data & Analyticsjourney to define create and activate a Human Led Data Powered organization.

The role

The assignmenthas its focus on assessing and growing the maturity of our Data & Analytics capabilities. Within Damen we have between the 100 up to 200 Data & Analytics professionals that will be part of this assessment. Concrete the assignment is conducting the Gartner Data & Analytics Maturity assessmentwithin the Damen organization resulting in an action plan to grow our maturity level.

Key accountabilities

As an intern you will:

• Be responsible for conducting the Gartner Data & Analytics Maturity assessment
• Analyze the assessment and present the results and your findings
• Validate a plan to grow in our maturity level 2 towards the next levels in the upcoming years.

Supervisory and support will be given by Bart Ziemerink (Head of Damen Data Services).

Skills & Experience

At least several skills/experiences from the following listare required tobe considered:

• You are a Bachelor or Master student with high affinity and knowledge about Data.
• Youare able towork at the Gorinchem location at least 2 days a week
• You are available at the earliest convenience for approximately 3 months
• Proficient in the Office package (Word Excel etc.)
• Good command English (and preferable Dutch too)
