Schedule: Monday Friday 8:30 AM 4:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours/week

Compensation: $17.00 $19.00 per hour

Position Overview

A healthcare organization is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support medical records and data management processes. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely entry of healthcare data while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive review and accurately enter data into computer systems or tracking databases
• Verify source documents for accuracy and completeness before data entry
• Identify investigate and correct data discrepancies
• Scan upload and maintain electronic records and documentation
• Maintain logs of completed work and data entry activities
• Perform general office support duties including answering phones and managing supplies
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and data privacy regulations

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 01 year of data entry experience required
• Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute (required)

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Prior experience in a healthcare setting
• Familiarity with medical terminology and medical records systems
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards
