The Enterprise Effects Division (EED) drives integration of Aerospaces strategic capabilities across the national space enterprise. The divisionleveragesa broad array of engineering disciplines against a diverse and dynamic portfolio of programs customers and national challenges. EED spans the capability lifecycle from concept and architecture design to performance assessment to application of space-enabled mission effects.
The Cross-Mission Effectiveness Department (CMED) in the Integrated Performance Subdivision leads integration and application of modeling and simulation capabilities and modern analysis workflows to support end-to-end effects chain analysis and space and space-enabled campaign a member ofCMED you willprovidetechnical capabilities to support our customers in modeling simulation and analysis (MS&A) of space air and ground-based systems of systems to investigate architecture and concept of operations (CONOPS) performance in nominal and contested operating environments. MS&A focus areas include agent-based modeling red vs blue simulations militaryutilityand capability drawdownkillchaineffectiveness enterprise architecture resiliency and command and control (C2) evaluation. We support a variety of customers with diverse program portfolios and we are looking for curious and innovative teammates to help us address our customers hardest problems!

WhatYoullBe Doing
Advancing our software solutionsfor modeling and simulation applications
Leveraging modern tech stackand enforcing best practices in modern software development and maintainability
Assistingin convertingprogrammatic requirements into actionable work
Work closely with our cross-missionfocused program offices and customers to translate their program needs into modeling simulation and analysis tasks.
Develop and present briefings and reports for program offices and customers.

What You Need to be Successful
MinimumRequirements:
Masters degree from an accredited program in computer scienceelectrical engineering optical engineeringphysicsmathematicsor related field(pursuing or conferred within last 12 months)
0-1 yr experience
Comfortable working with and following a large code base in C
Proficiency with C Preferably C 20
Experience with Python
Projects or coursework in modeling and simulation
Coursework or project work in at least one of the following:optics beam controlfiltering multi-in trackingtasking mission management data transport C2 processes SIGINT system modeling kill chain analysis orbit determination
Ability to work both independently and cooperatively within a team and manage multiple simultaneous tasks
Demonstrated strong work ethic self-motivation and willingness to take initiative
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A bias for action and the ability toidentifyshortcomings and addressthem with initiative
This position requires ability to obtain andmaintaina Top Secret/SCI security clearance which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship isto obtain a security clearance.
