THE OPPORTUNITY
The Equipment Operator will transport set-up operate and maintain large grading/other equipment needed for Commercial project jobsites in addition to assisting crews in the field with general laborer duties.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Transporting setting up and operating grading and/or other large equipment (skid steer backhoe mini ex etc) at Commercial jobsites.
- Understanding project scope as it relates to the designated task.
- Maintaining all equipment in good working condition and reporting any necessary maintenance repairs or upgrades required.
- Providing assistance to crews in the field with general labor tasks.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO OUR ORGANIZATION
- Proven experience operating skid steers mini excavators backhoe loaders.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in the construction industry.
- The ability to read and interpret construction documents.
- The willingness to assist crews in the field with performing general labor tasks as requested.
- Frequently sit; climb or balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl while operating the equipment.
- Frequently reach with hands and arms and be required to use hands to finger handle feel or operate objects tools or controls.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently use vision to include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- May be expected to travel out of town to work on projects.
- May usually work irregular hours and often work early mornings and during weekends and may also do shift work and be on call. Generally will be required to work longer hours in summer.
- Work in most weather conditions and in conditions that may be noisy wet cold dirty and dusty.
