The Role:

Support adults living in CPA group homes to lead rich independent and empowered lives. This posting is specifically for our home in Umina Beach.

Your day-to-day may include:

  • Providing respectful support with personal care mealtimes medication and daily routines

  • Encouraging skill-building independence and decision-making

  • Supporting community engagement social connection and transport (including use of CPA vans & in your own vehicle)

  • Following person-centred plans with empathy and professionalism

  • Building positive relationships with our clients

What Youll Bring:

We are looking for candidates who embody CPA values are client-focused in their approach to care and are passionate about the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities. Youll bring:

  • A can-do attitude and growth mindset youre open to learning and ready to make a difference

  • Professional Behaviour Support experience or lived experience preferred however your passion & enthusiasm is key!

  • NSW Drivers Licence (P2 or above)

  • Physical capability to support clients with mobility or transfers

  • Availability across a variety of shift times including:

    • Early mornings (6am - 9am)

    • Day shifts (9am - 3/4pm)

    • Afternoons & evenings

    • Awake overnights (10pm-6am)

You will have comprehensive training throughout your orientation with ongoing learning and development. We invest $5000 in training in your first year
This includes:

  • Buddy shifts with CPAs experienced Disability Support Workers

  • CPA is a Registered TrainingOrganisation(RTO 90213).

We offer fully funded nationallyrecognisedqualifications including:

  • CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support

  • Ongoing specialist training and skill development
