Leasing Specialist

Dream Live Prosper Communities is now hiring for an energetic and experienced Leasing Specialist for our flagship Dream Asheville Exchange community. TheLeasing Specialist plays a critical role in the success of our community by driving leasing activity selling our world class apartment homes marketing the community and providing wow customer service.

This is a forward facing role that will interact with both residents and guests. The right candidate will be a motivated and outgoing professional with a proven track record in leasing sales or other related field.

About this opportunity:

Location: Dream Asheville Exchange 105 Exchange Cir Asheville NC 28806

Compensation: $18.00-$23.00 per hour plus an aggressive commission and incentive program

Position type: Full-time

What we are looking for in a Leasing Specialist Candidate:

• A strong background in multiple years of multifamily property management is preferred
• Proven ability to drive positive results while representing and promoting core values
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong outreach and social media marketing background
• Experience conducting accurate market surveys by conducting in-person shops on a regular basis
• A sense of empowerment accountability and success at achieving goals driving performance and developing team members
• Appfolio G-suite and Microsoft Office experience is a plus
• Organizing and coordinating resident events monthly

What you will do as a Leasing Specialist:

• Respond to all leads within 4 hours and manage the full lead-to-lease process
• Prospect weekly and build relationships with local businesses for cross-promotion
• Network with major employers universities and hospitals to generate traffic
• Conduct leasing tours using DLPs Standards of Excellence and close with confidence
• Assist prospects in applying using online tools and proven closing techniques
• Create and lead resident programs to enhance the living experience
• Build relationships with current and past residents to drive referrals
• Regularly walk and inspect the property to ensure cleanliness and functionality
• Maintain accurate CRM records guest cards follow-ups and lease paperwork
• Communicate consistently with the Community Manager leadership and teammates
• Attend all required meetings and trainings; manage goals and time effectively
