Community Housing Limited (CHL) is seeking an experienced Housing Services Coordinator to lead tenancy and property management outcomes across our Victoria portfolio. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys supporting people strengthening compliance and practice and working closely with customers government and community partners to deliver sustainable housing outcomes.
The Role
- This is a full-time permanent role offering a competitive above award salary with salary packaging available
- The role will be required to travel between our Melbourne Bendigo and Ballarat offices and sites

The Housing Services Coordinator leads the delivery of high-quality tenancy and property management services that support CHLs vision of a world without housing poverty. Reporting to the State Operations Manager this role supervises Housing Officer/s and provides day-to-day leadership coaching and guidance to ensure consistent practice customer-focused service delivery and sustainable tenancy outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Lead and support Housing Officer/s to deliver sustainable long-term tenancy and property management services across the region
- Ensure staff understand and meet compliance requirements including relevant legislation government regulations CHL guidelines and WHS obligations
- Liaise with internal CHL teams government departments and support agencies to ensure quality outcomes for customers
- Act as a point of escalation for complex tenancy and property management situations
- Provide accurate and timely reports on relevant business activities risks and operational performance
About You
You are a capable people leader with strong tenancy and property management knowledge able to balance customer outcomes compliance and operational priorities. You will bring:
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant tenancy and housing legislation and the ability to apply it in practice
- Understanding of the community social and/or public housing sectors and the drivers of sustainable tenancy outcomes
- Established networks within current or potential partner organisations and confidence collaborating with government and support agencies
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing staff with an approachable coaching style
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise monitor workflows and ensure timely accurate reporting
- Sound judgment resilience and professionalism when managing escalations and complex tenancy matters
- Commitment to safety and wellbeing including promoting balanced work practices and compliance with WHS requirements
- Police Check NDIS Check WWCC (all checks will be arranged during onboarding)
- Current Drivers Licence (travelling between sites is required)
