Informatica Powercenter Developer
Location: PCS CHE Chennai
Years of Experience: 5-7 Years
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced ETL/Informatica Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Informatica PowerCenter with expertise in developing advanced mappings and workflows. Knowledge of AWS is a plus. This role involves performance tuning error handling and providing production support for ETL processes.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Optimize performance of ETL workflows and mappings.
- Implement error handling and rerun strategies for batch jobs.
- Perform SQL query optimization and data analysis preferably with DB2.
- Utilize Linux shell scripting for automation and job orchestration.
- Manage batch scheduling including job dependencies and controls.
- Establish data controls and reconciliation frameworks.
- Provide production support for Informatica batch jobs and downstream reporting processes.
- Conduct incident analysis impact assessment and root-cause analysis.
- Participate in migration and modernization initiatives including re-engineering and decommissioning legacy components.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
