The Role
We are not looking for someone to moderate comments. We are looking for someone who lives onthe For You Page understands that a single reply in the right comment section can outperform apaid campaign and treats community as the brands most powerful asset. You will supportcommunity management across three distinct brands and audiences Shark Home SharkBeauty and Ninja with Instagram and TikTok as your primary stage. You will be part of theSocial Media & Community team.
Responsibilities
Brand Voice & Engagement
- Apply SharkNinjas brand voice across comments DMs replies and mentions for SharkHome Shark Beauty and Ninja ensuring every interaction feels human on-brand andintentional
- Engage proactively beyond owned channels jump into trending conversations commenton relevant creator content and place our brands where culture is already happening
- Inspire surface and amplify UGC celebrate community content encourage participationand help turn everyday customers into vocal brand advocates
- Build genuine ongoing relationships with superfans power users and repeat engagersacross all three brand communities
Social Listening & Trend Spotting
- Run ongoing social listening across brand communities product categories and culturalterritories: food & cooking culture home aesthetics and haircare & beauty rituals
- Monitor brand sentiment and competitor community health flag risks early and surface opportunities for the team to act on
- Surface emerging trends and cultural conversations sharing observations with the wider social team to inform content briefs and campaign planning
Community Operations
- Follow established community tone guidelines response playbooks and escalation protocolsfor each brand flagging gaps or inconsistencies to the team as you find them
- Support real-time community activation during product launches campaign moments andcultural events
- Track community KPIs including engagement rate response time sentiment score UGCvolume and follower growth
- Contribute to monthly community reporting by documenting key metrics notable communitymoments and emerging trends for the wider team
Your Profile
- 12 years of experience in community management or social media brand-side or agency
- Fluent in German and English written and spoken native or near-native German preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Instagram and TikTok algorithm formats culture andcommunity dynamics
- Familiarity with social listening tools (e.g. Brandwatch Talkwalker Sprout Social)
- Strong copywriting instinct you can write a comment that earns thousands of likes
- Experience building community engagement and encouraging user-generated content
- Based in Frankfurt or willing to commute for regular in-office days
Nice to Have
- Background in a social-first agency environment
- Experience with DACH consumer brands in home beauty or kitchen categories
- On-camera confidence for community content moments
- Familiarity with tools such as Dash Hudson Emplifi or Sprinklr
