The Team Youll Work With:
The Mayors Office of Intergovernmental Affairs
The Problems Youll Solve:
The Senior Advisors will report to the Director of Intergovernmental Affairs and work across
IGAs legislative units to serve as lead organizer on key Mayoral initiatives and priorities.
Duties of the Senior Advisor include but are not limited to:
- Intergovernmental Liaison serve as a liaison between City State and Federal
elected officials IGA Legislative Units IGA Senior Advisors and relevant Mayoral
agencies and offices to oversee projects and develop and implement strategic
outreach to elected and advocates in furtherance of Mayoral goals.
- Interagency Coordination coordinate with agencies boards commissions
organizations and institutions relevant to Administration goals and policy initiatives
meet project goals and timelines and review agency and interagency work product.
- General Support as needed provide administrative support and coordination
including preparation of correspondence and briefing memoranda background
research and information for the Director of Intergovernmental Affairs.
EXECUTIVE PROGRAM SPECIALIST - 06854
Qualifications :
1. Admission to the New York State Bar; and four years of recent full-time responsible relevant satisfactory legal experience subsequent to admission to any bar eighteen months of which must have been in the supervision of other attorneys in an administrative managerial or executive capacity or performing highly complex and significant legal work.
Incumbents must remain Members of the New York State Bar in good standing for the
duration of this employment.
