Job Title: Cardiology Diagnostic Technician III
Location: Hyannis MA 02601

Shift: 11:00 AM 11:30 PM
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Cardiology Diagnostic Technician III to provide high-quality patient care through specimen collection and non-invasive cardiac testing. This role requires strong technical expertise attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform blood draws and collect clinical specimens while ensuring accurate patient identification and adherence to safety protocols
- Instruct patients on proper specimen collection procedures
- Conduct non-invasive cardiac testing including EKGs Holter monitoring and stress testing following established protocols
- Ensure all required documentation and lab forms are completed accurately at the time of service
- Document patient and test information in hospital systems for provider interpretation and regulatory compliance
- Complete cardiac test ordering and billing processes as required
- Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding patient orders workflow updates and technical issues
- Adhere to infection control standards including proper use of PPE
- Assist nursing units with specimen collection and test-related inquiries
- Support onboarding and training of new staff and students
- Identify and report opportunities for process improvement and quality enhancement
- Resolve specimen collection issues and escalate concerns when necessary
- Maintain inventory restock supplies and ensure proper usage of laboratory materials
- Participate in staff meetings training sessions and continuing education activities
- Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment
- Deliver exceptional service to patients families and healthcare team members
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy Certification (PBT)
- EKG Certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Strong communication organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an acute care hospital setting
