Job Title: Cardiology Diagnostic Technician III Location: Hyannis MA 02601 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 11:00 AM 11:30 PM
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Cardiology Diagnostic Technician III to provide high-quality patient care through specimen collection and non-invasive cardiac testing. This role requires strong technical expertise attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform blood draws and collect clinical specimens while ensuring accurate patient identification and adherence to safety protocols
Instruct patients on proper specimen collection procedures
Conduct non-invasive cardiac testing including EKGs Holter monitoring and stress testing following established protocols
Ensure all required documentation and lab forms are completed accurately at the time of service
Document patient and test information in hospital systems for provider interpretation and regulatory compliance
Complete cardiac test ordering and billing processes as required
Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding patient orders workflow updates and technical issues
Adhere to infection control standards including proper use of PPE
Assist nursing units with specimen collection and test-related inquiries
Support onboarding and training of new staff and students
Identify and report opportunities for process improvement and quality enhancement
Resolve specimen collection issues and escalate concerns when necessary
Maintain inventory restock supplies and ensure proper usage of laboratory materials
Participate in staff meetings training sessions and continuing education activities
Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment
Deliver exceptional service to patients families and healthcare team members
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Phlebotomy Certification (PBT)
EKG Certification
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Strong communication organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
