Job Title: Physical Therapist

Location: Grafton WV

Salary Range: $40-$50 per hour

Schedule: Full-time 40 hours per week 5 days a week with no weekend rotation.

Facility: Small facility with 69 beds specializing in short-term rehabilitation.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at our facility in Grafton WV. As a Physical Therapist you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities to help them achieve their maximum functional potential and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans

- Provide hands-on therapy and exercises to improve strength mobility and range of motion

- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities to promote recovery

- Monitor and document patients progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and effective care for patients

- Stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques and treatments

- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation

- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of practice

Qualifications:

- Bachelors Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferably in short-term rehabilitation

- Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles techniques and modalities

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

- Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records
