P-Physical Therapist

Position: Physical Therapist (P-Physical Therapist)

Salary Range: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday with a weekend rotation

Facility: 117 bed skilled nursing facility offering long-term and short-term rehab

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at our 117 bed skilled nursing facility. As a Physical Therapist you will work with patients of all ages and abilities to help them improve their physical function and mobility. Your primary goal will be to help our patients regain their independence and improve their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate patients medical history and perform physical examinations to determine their current physical abilities and limitations

- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients needs and goals

- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to help patients improve their strength flexibility balance coordination and endurance

- Monitor patients progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities to continue their progress at home

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as physicians nurses and occupational therapists to ensure comprehensive care for patients

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation

- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of practice

Qualifications:

- Bachelors Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records
