Job Summary
We are seeking a Large Market Business Developer to join a leading consulting organization focused on health wealth and career solutions. This role is responsible for driving new business growth within large enterprise clients and developing long-term strategic relationships with senior decision-makers.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in benefits consulting HR consulting or large-market sales and a proven track record of winning high-value enterprise accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and prospect a portfolio of 4050 enterprise accounts (5000 employees or $2B revenue)
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans for large complex clients
- Drive new business acquisition and close high-value accounts
- Build relationships with C-suite and senior executives
- Lead full sales cycle including prospecting negotiations and contract execution
- Prepare compelling proposals and RFP responses
- Partner with internal teams to deliver tailored client solutions
- Expand revenue within existing and new enterprise accounts
Required Experience
- 10 years of successful sales experience in benefits consulting or related field
- Strong track record of closing large enterprise accounts
- Experience managing long and complex sales cycles
- Proven ability to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders
- Ability to clearly explain sales strategy pipeline and deal execution
- Experience meeting or exceeding sales targets consistently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in large-market group health retirement benefits or HR consulting
- Strong executive relationship-building skills
- Active professional network in relevant industries
- Experience participating in industry events or thought leadership activities
- Life & Health License (preferred)
