Description

The Associate Director of FCN Marketing is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and management of communications and marketing initiativesfortheFloridaCenter forNursing(FCN).FCNheadquarteredattheUniversityofSouthFloridaCollegeofNursingisa state workforce center establishedtoaddress nursing workforce AssociateDirector will develop a deep understanding of FCN priorities create strategic communications and marketing plans and then operationalizethatworkwhileoverseeingateamofmarketingand communications professionals. Reporting to the College of Nursings Director of Communications this person works closely with the Director andFCNseniorstafftodevelop specific communications and marketing tactics that will drive FCN brand awareness and encourageengagementfromFCNstakeholders.



Responsibilities

Createsmarketingandcommunicationsstrategicplanrecommendationsbasedon first-hand operational knowledge of FCN and in alignment with the FCN strategic plan.

Esuresthatkeymessagesandbrandstandardsaredevelopedandused consistently. Regularreviewofbrandguide(atleastannually)toensureconsistency and relevance.

Trains and monitors staff responsible for content development design and production of all public relationsmediamarketingandcommunicationscampaigns.

team (typically a minimum of two direct reports) and provides professional development opportunities performance reviewsandmentoring.

Provides editorial recommendations and curates content for marketing and promotional assests (.)and digital media (e.g. website social media email marketing audiovisual content.)

InalignmentwithstrategicprioritiesoverseesFCNwebsiteandcollectsanalyticsin order to drive decisions.

Leads marketingcommunicationplanningrelatedtoallFCNreportsincludingoverall strategy production and promotion.

Conductscommunicationsassessmentsandrecommendsnewpromotionalvehicles and strategies to increase positive PR and track return on investment.

Responsibleformarketingoperationssuchasmanagingexternalvendorsasthey relate to marketing projects and communication campaigns. Responsible for developing maintaining and meeting projectdeadlines.

Develops and manages collaborative relationships with other FCN constituents to better understandissuesandchallengesrelatedtoFCNandthenursingworkforcein Florida.

BriefsFCNseniorstaffoncommunicationsissuesandprepareappropriateresponses for media stakeholders and other requests. May assist with drafting and/or editing of remarks articles letters speeches presentations and other communications.

Tracksandanalyzesthesuccessofmarketingandcommunicationscampaignsand develops data-driven recommendations to continually improve marketing and communications strategies.

WorkingcollaborativelywithFCNleadershipconductsmarketanalysesinorderto evaluate current initiatives and make recommendations for new efforts.

Workswithappropriatepartnerstomanageprojectbudgetswithinestablished guidelines.

WorkscollaborativelywithpartnersatCollegeofNursingUSFHealthandUniversity Communications and Marketing along with other marketing and communications partners to ensure alignment on key co-branded initiatives.

Potentialforoccasionaltravel.

Qualifications

Bachelorsdegreeandaminimumofsixyearsofrelatedexperience. Aminimumoftwoyearsofmanagerialexperiencewithapreferencefor4years.

Degree Equivalency Clause: Four years of direct experience for a bachelors degree.
Senate Bill 1310- The Florida Senate ( is conditional upon meeting all employment eligibility requirements in the U.S.
SB 1310: Substitution of Work Experience for Postsecondary Education Requirements
A public employer may include a postsecondary degree as a baseline requirement only as an alternative to the number of years of direct experience required not to exceed:
(a) Two years of direct experience for an associate degree;
(b) Four years of direct experience for a bachelors degree;
(c) Six years of direct experience for a masters degree;
(d) Seven years of direct experience for a professional degree; or
(e) Nine years of direct experience for a doctoral degree
Related work experience may not substitute for any required licensure certification or registration required for the position of employment as established by the public employer and indicated in the advertised description of the position of employment.
Minimum Qualifications that require a high school diploma are exempt from SB 1310.
