Compliance Manager

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Bromley to assist with the appointment of a Compliance Manager on a 6.5-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 318.33 - 419.24 per day

Summary:

This role sits within a specialist unit in the Facilities Management function focused on delivering a compliance project across the Councils property estate.

You will be responsible for carrying out site inspections identifying compliance gaps managing remedial works and ensuring all statutory obligations are met. You will work closely with contractors legal teams and internal stakeholders to drive the project to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct site inspections across the property estate to assess compliance
• Identify and address any statutory compliance gaps
• Manage third-party contractors to deliver remedial works
• Monitor progress and ensure works are completed to required standards
• Maintain and update compliance trackers and documentation

Qualifications:

• Relevant qualification in Building Services Facilities Management or similar (or equivalent experience)

Essential Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of property statutory compliance (e.g. gas electrical fire water hygiene asbestos)
• Experience in property inspections and compliance management
• Good understanding of building pathology and M&E systems
• Proven ability to manage contractors and remedial works
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across sites
